I
I
I
I
I
'!
I
I

i
I

I
I
I
I
I
I
I

edge of the pavement. It would be the homeowner's responsibility to extend
existing bituminous or concrete driveways to match the street. In special
cases, if the street grades are revised to require driveway adjustments, those
adjustments would be made as part of the project.

STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT:

The present storm drainage system appears to be functional with the exception of
culvert cleaning and/or adjustment and the need for a culvert at Yttrium Street
and 169th Lane. It is also proposed to obtain drainage easements over low
areas where ponding presently occurs.

The proposed improvements and easements would not provide the ultimate solution
to the drainage. However, it is not anticipated that the drainage will create
any major problems with only occasional flooding of the low areas occurring
during heavy rains and during snow melt prior to the disappearance of frost in
the spring. The ultimate solution to the drainage would require construction of
a drainage outlet to the Trott Brook.

Some existing driveways presently may not have driveway culverts. While not all
driveways would need a driveway culvert, those lots which presently may cause
potential flooding problems should be required to install driveway culverts.
This work is proposed to be done by the owner of the affected property.

COSTS:

Estimated costs and estimated quantities are provided on the following page for
the proposed improvements.

- 3 -
