That RAHSEY shall pay to the CITY each year this agreement is in <br />force and effect, a sum of money equivalent to one mill on the assessed valuation <br />of property in the CITY of RAMSEY , in the area covered by this contract. <br />In addition thereto, RAMSEY shall pay to the CITY, monthly, during the term of <br />this a~reement, for all fire calls in the Township answered by the CITY Fire Depart- <br />ment, on time invoices certified by the Chief or his Deputy, a sum equivalent to $225 <br />per run for the first half hour of each call and $ 75 for each subsequent half <br />hour or fraction thereof of each call. <br /> <br /> 3. The payment specified in paragraph 2, above, shall be made by RAMSEY <br />for any fire call in RAM~EY answered by the CITY Fire Department regardless of <br />how the call is received or by whom it is made, no pa)~ents shall be due for false <br />alarms unless the call is made by a resldent of RAMSEY <br /> <br /> 4. The parties acknowledge the fact that the CITY is under a similar type <br />contract with other municipalities and that a fire call under any such contract pre- <br />ceding e call in the RAMSEY could be a valid and reasonable basis for the decision <br />of the Fire Chief or his Deputy in refusing to answer a fire call in the RA}~EY <br /> <br /> 5. Because the CITY has heretofore entered into mutual assistance fire <br />fighting agreements with other municipalities, posessing fire fighting equipment and <br />firemen, which equipment and firemen could be called by the Chief or his Deputy to <br />a fire in RAMSEY · RAMSEY , agrees to pay such additional cost as may <br />be incurred therby if in the sol~ J-~gment of the Chief or his Deputy such additional <br />fire fighting equipment and firemen are needed to fight a fire in RAMSEY and <br />are in fact called to such fire by the Chief or his Deputy, <br /> <br /> 6.
