Having reviewed these quotations and <br />discussed them with the bidders, it would be my recommendation that they be awarded <br />as follows: <br /> <br />1) Exit lights/emergency lighting - Award to Rit-Nel Electric in the amount <br /> of $518.00. <br /> <br />2) Wiring new sign - Award to Lehn Electric (second bidder) in the amount of <br /> $1,680.00 with a $614.00 deduction for the burial of the wire by others. <br /> <br />I have recommended the bid be awarded to Lehn Electric, the second bidder, because <br />his proposal will provide a time clock at the sign and an additional circuit to the <br />sign for future use. The advantage of the second time clock will be that the light <br />for the sign will not have to be on as long as the building's exterior lighting. <br /> <br />I can be available for the meeting if any other questions arise. <br /> <br /> / <br />CRB: p'o <br /> <br /> <br />
