m I I I I I I I PUBLIC NOTICE Urban Anoka County CDBG 1982 Proposed Statement of Comuntty Development Objectives and Projected Use of Funds Pursuant to interim Community Development Block Grant regulations, Anoka County has published the following statement of proposed use of 1982 Anoka County CDBG funds. Citizens, non-profit groups, and other interested persons are invited to coment upon this statement and upon Anoka County's performance of the CDBG program by contacting Anoka County Administration, 325 East Main Street, Anoka, telephone number 421-4760, Attention: Tim Yantos. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES FOR 1982 ANOKA COUNTY CDBG PROGRAM The following objectives as they were developed in 1981 are set forth for program development in 1982. These objectives are established for assisting communities and citizen groups in the formulation of specific program activities. The objectives listed below are in brief form. A more complete development of program policy and rationale may be found by contacting the above mentioned source. Promote new housing construction for elderly citizens. Assist program efforts designed to eliminate slum and blight. Promote the removal of architectura) barriers. Assist planning efforts in areas of redevelopment. Seek local financial committment to redevelopment programs. Promote program efforts aimed at economic development. Assist in the development of needed con~nuntty facilities. Assist in the development of neighborhood parks, in areas of low income residents. Assist in the installation of co~nunity improvements in areas of low income residents. As previously stateJ, these objectives and program policies are guidelines for project activities during 1982.
