Much of the information used in compiling the performance scores was drawn trgm a questionnaire you or someone on your staff may have filled out recently. Questions or additional information should be referred to either Guy Petersen or Wayne Nelson of the Housing staff at 291-6527 or 291-6406. Pre-apolication forms for fiscal year ]983 LCMR park grants were sent to your community's park and recreation director or administrative office on March 15. The Council will make revisions to the housin~ 6erformance points throuqh }~ay 1', after which the Council will use the points in evaluating the LCMR 9rant applications. As you may recall~ Housing Policy 39 of the Metropolitan ~evelopment Guide establishes funding priorities based on each community's provision af lower- cost housing, and its plans, policies and programs to provide such housing in the future. The policy is applied only to applications from public agencies or local governmental units for state or federal funds, including transportation, criminal justice, parks and open space, and' aging grants. Criteria nos. 12-15 of the worksheet represent information which may be included in your comprehensive land use plan. If your local comprehensive plan has not bee~ submitted to the Council for review, or formal review has not been commenced, we may have no information from which to award points. To receive ooints for nos. 12-!5, you need to verify for us that the information in the criteria is contained in your local comprehensive plan and that the plan has received some form of elected official approval.
