MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey hereinafter referred to as "Ramsey" <br />is obligated to prepare a comprehensive plan, hereinafter referred to as <br />"plan" pursuant to the Metropolitan Land Planning Act, Minnesota Statutes <br />Section 473.175 hereinafter referred to as "Act"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council hereinafter referred to as <br />"Council" is required under the Act to review and accept Ramsey's Plan; <br />and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, Ramsey has submitted a plan to the Council, which plan ' <br />the Counc~I wants revised and which revisions are more fully outlined in <br />that certain letter dated March 9, 1982, addressed to Thomas G. Gamec, <br />Mayor City of Ramsey, and which letter is from Robert B. Ryan, Principal <br />Reviewer of the Council Staff; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ramsey is in agreement with certain of the requested <br />revisions if the Council will commit itself to providing a second sanitary <br />sewer connection to serve that portion to the Rum River Water Shed <br />located in Ramsey. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED BY AND BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1) That Ramsey agrees with items #1 through #4 of the March 9, <br />1982 letter and will revise its plan accordingly. <br /> <br /> 2) The Council does commit itself to provide to Ramsey a second <br />sanitary sewer connection to serve that portion of the Rum River Water Shed <br />located in Ramsey by 1984. <br /> <br /> 3) Ramsey need not comply with Item #5 of the March 9, 1982 <br />letter as the number of buildable lots is significantly less than 800 <br />and the remaining v~cant platted lots will have no impac~ on Ramsey's <br />1990 Urban Area. <br /> <br />PASSED by the Ramsey City Council this the 23rd day of March, <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator/Clerk <br /> <br />1982. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />PASSED by the Metropolitan Council this the <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />, 1982. <br /> <br /> <br />
