LaDue appointing him to Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. <br /> <br />2) Letter to Mr. Robert E. Isakson appointing him to Planning and Zoning <br /> Comm i s s i o n. <br /> <br />3) Letter to Mr. Darryl Fults, Sr. regarding his application to the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />4) Letter to Mr. Dale J. Voltin regarding his application to the Planning <br /> and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />5) Letter to Dr. Thomas W. 'Anderson regarding his application to the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson added the following to the list of letters and communications: <br /> <br />6) Pamphlet from Metro Council "Energy Conservation in Existing Public <br /> Buildings." <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1 Request For A Home Occupation Permit BS Mr. Norman J. Thurmer, Jr. <br /> For A Taxidermist Shop In His Residence At 15001 Zeolite Street~ <br /> <br />Mr. Berg informed the Commission that there has been no public input in regards <br />to Mr. Thurmer's request. <br /> <br />Mr. Thurmer informed the Commission that he will be remodeling the garage <br />presently attached to his residence, to accommodate his proposed taxidermy <br />shop. <br /> <br />Mr. Berg stated that Mr. Thurmer would have to apply for a conditional use <br />permit because home occupation permits are limited to the confines of the <br />home and an attached garage is considered an accessory building. <br /> <br />Mr. Thurmer stated that he will not have any employees on a regular basis. <br />He also has no plans to replace the garage he intends to remodel into an <br />taxidermy shop..
