I
I
I
I
I
;I

TO:

F ROM:

Mayor and City Council

City Administrator

Council Business

Enclosure (D2-a) Memo from City Staff dated March 1, 1982 regarding Comprehensive
Plan alternatives

CASE #1:

CASE 92:

RAMSEY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN:

Enclosure (D2-a) contains the following documents:

a)

Memo from City Staff dated March 1, 1982 to City Council
regarding Comprehensive Plan alternatives. It should be
noted that alternative #3 has been deleted as an alterna-
tive.

b) Resolution #82- requesting second sanitary sewer con,
nection. This will be available at the meeting.

c) Resolution #82- regarding location of second sanitary
sewer connection. This will be available at the meeting.

Council Action: Your action will be to review the alternatives con-
tained in the Staff memo which gives you two alternatives in regards
to adopting the Comprehensive Plan. If you do not agree to any of
those alternatives, then I think the Council should themselves enter
into direct negotiations with the Metro Council or allow the plan to
proceed as is and make your statement at the Physical Development
Commission's review of our plan or wait until the total Council has
taken action on it and then make a decision. That could be a rather
dangerous route to take on this issue.

Secondly, we will have the resolutions listed in subparagraphs b and
c above for your review and adoption at the meeting.

DISCUSSION REGARDING DELETING FROM ORDINANCE $82-5, PARCEL "D" REZONING

I
I
I

FROM B-~ T~ RBi-~, THAT TOTAL PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF 167TH AVENUE AT THE INTERSECTION OF STATE HIG~AY #47:

It has been requested by Councilmember Sue Van Wagner that the follow-
ing parcel that was rezoned from B-1 to RB-la be put back on the agenda
for further discussion:
