KLEIN MPA/APA January 4, 1982 Mr. Tom Gamec Mayor - City of Ramsey 15153 Nowthen Blvd. ~amsey, MN 55303 Dear Mr. Gamec, I am writing you to remind you that Anoka County wdll be participating in the Community Development Block Grant Program again in 1982. This program like most fede~y funded proje~s has undergone substantial cu~, with the Anoka ,County Gran~ anticipated to be reduced by approximately 20%. With these Cuts in place, it is imperative that communities work on joint projects and pool their resourc~ to develop significant projects. In the pa~t yea~, I have provided CDBG grant administration services to the following communities: - City of St. Francis - City of Ham Lake - City of Bethel - Burns Township - Linwood Township - Columbus Township I would be pleased to provide the name of a contact in each community for a reference. I would be very interested in working with the City of Ramsey in 1982 in developing and delive~ng a viable, fundable program. I have exp~rt~e in the area of local economic development, as well as basle CDBG program guidelines. I anticipate that funds avaialable to the City of Ramsey for 1982 will be in the ~ange of $36,720 to $50,000. If you would like me to represent the City of Ramsey on the Communally Development Block Grant Project, and to represent you on the Technical Advisory Committee(TAC), please notify me'as soon as possible as applications are due to Anoka County by February 15, 1982.
