BETWEEN THi' :.1iSTROPOLITAN COUNCIL AND THE ,I CITY OI RAHSEY __EREAS, Council, hereinafter referred to the "Council," and the the Metropolitan as ~_~D~5. f~/- , hereinafter referred to as the "Grantee," have previously entered into a ~rant agreement ior a local planning assistance grant, Metropolitan Council Contract. No. 7~]00 ' dated---~-b~-/JsrY ]5 , 197~, and amended on ~V__28~ ]_~ and EREAS,the Council has awarded $ 6,50l in 1980-81 grant funds to the Grantee from funds appropriated by Minnesota Laws 19~9, Chapter 333, Section 16, Subdivision 4, for the preparation f its comprehensive plan required by the Metropolitan Land Planning Act; and HEREAS, the Grantee has made a timely submission of its comprehensive plan to the Council. NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree that the above-referenced agreement shall be amended in I~he fo]lowing particulars: I 1. Paragraph lA'is amended to read as follows: · "The Council shall pay to the Grantee, in accordance with the schedule set forth below, a total grant amount of $ !~0Q_~ . Grant funds shall be made available to the Grantee as follows: $_. 7~657 __in 1976-77 and 1~78-79 grant funds paid previously upon execution of khe original agre~ntmt and subsequent interim amendments; $ in r~maJning and 1978-79 grant funds upon satisfactory, evaluation by the 851 1976-77 C~l-~f-tb~funded portion completion reports submitted by the Grantee pursuant to paragraph 4B of this agreement; $ 6,501 in 1980-81 grant funds are to ~e paid in the following manner: I I I 'I $_ ~2~] ' u[~n determination by the Council that the Grantee's plan is adequate for review; $ '2,600 upon receipt by the Council of docu~nentation that the Grantee had adopted its comprehensive plan within nine months after Council review, including required modifications, if any; $ 6~ upon submission of the Final Progress Report." -Paragraph lB is amended to read as follows: "The Grantee certifies that of the total actual cost of carrying out the work proqram, no morm than 75% shall have been financed by grant funds awarded by this Agreement, and that no more than 100% shall have been financed by grant funds awarded by this Agreement plus grant funds from other sources of financial assistance." 3. Paragraph iD is amended to include the following: "D. The Grantee agrees to comply with ali.provisions of the 1976-77 and 1978-79 Grant Guide- lines and the 1980.-81 Grant Guidelines, as amended." 4. Paragraph 5A is amended to read: "~. Duration. The period of grant award specified herein shall terminate as of twelve months from the date the Council completes its review of the local unit's comprehensive plan, or upon submission of the final progress report, whichever comes first. Any remaining grant funds awarded to the Grantee by this agreement that have not been disbursed as of that date in accordance with the ter~s set forth above shall revert to and become part of the Council's local planning assistance fund, and may be reallocated or expended by the Council for Planning assistance to other governmental units." I Except as hereby amended, the provisions of the above-referenced contract shall remain in force and effect without change.
