Goodrich Attorney at Law 211 East Main Anoka, MN 55303 Re: City of Ramsey Litigation Gentlemen: This letter will serve to confirm our understanding with regard to representation by this firm for the City of Ra~sey with respect to its constitutional challenge of the current state aids' statute. It is our understanding following the meeting and resolu- tion of the City of Ramsey .City Council on Monday, January 4, 1982, that this office shall draft a Summons and Complaint- for your review and comments. It is further agreed that we shall represent the City of Ramsey jointly with Mr. Goodrich in bringing the constitutional challenge and shall progress with the matter with your continuing permission until advised to the contrary. We intend to submit billings to the City of Ramsey for our work on a monthly basis and to provide periodic status reports as requested by you. For your information, we advise that shareholder-partner time shall be billed at an hourly rate of $75.00 per hour and associate time shall be billed at a rate of $65.00 per hour. Of course, advanced costs shall be reimbursable and will be detailed on our state- ments to the City. We look forward to our association in this matter.
