He thanked staff for Sending out th~ minutes <br />ahead of time, noting that was helpful. He stated there is an ongoing discUSSion on the pr~e~Ss of <br />revising the Comprehensive Plan Amendment, and asked for an fi~date. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon indicated there was another work sessioal <br />with the City Council on the process, and they will becking that the City Council grant Stafftfi~ <br />ability to start the process with a consultant, and ,~Ork throughl.the process with the Planning <br />Commission and City Council in work session. She noted the City recently issued a home occupation <br />permit for a magsage therapist with similar-hours and number of anticipated Clients during a <br />week. ": <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Ms. Pickhardt, 15751 Potassium stated she would like to add some statistics. She indicated she <br />averaged only approximately 10 clients per month at home, as most of her patients have <br />transferred to. Anoka. She noted she had a home occupation permit in Champlin for six to seven <br />years, and most of her neighbors never knew it unless they were a client. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt asked if the hours suggested were acceptable. <br /> <br />Ms. Pickhardt stated her appointments are strictly by appointment, and the hours listed were <br />arbitrarily set by Staff. <br /> <br />Planning Commission/May 6, 2004 <br /> Page 2 of 25 <br /> <br /> <br />
