During the interim period when the temporary classrooms are on the site, parking for staff and <br />students will be located on the public streets surrounding the school. Approximately 125 parallel <br />parking spaces are available on the streets surrounding the school. It should be noted that the school <br />will be discouraging parking by students during the interim period. <br /> <br />During its review of the Interim Use Permit, the Planning Commission was concerned that if the <br />public roads surrounding the school were not completed, parking would be a problem. The Planning <br />Commission added language to the Interim Use Permit that states if parking is not available <br />alternative off-street parking must be utilized. With that condition, the Planning Commission <br />recomended approval of the Interim Use Permit. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and City Staff recommends approval of the request for an interim use <br />permit. <br /> <br />City Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Findings of Fact relating to a request for an Interim Use Permit to place temporary <br />classroom buildings on the P.A.C.T.
