Vice Chair Johnson commented Staff did a good job taking into account the Planning <br />Commission's comments and incorporating them into the document. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Watson to recommend that City <br />Council adopt Findings of Fact and introduce an ordinance rezoning the properties from B-2 <br />Highway Business to H- 1 Highway #10 Business. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Johnson, Commissioners Brauer, Watson, Jeffrey, <br />Shepherd, and Van Scoy. Voting No: None. He stated they should be involved, but have not been <br />notified. He commented the Planning Commission is passing all these motions, and asked why <br />someone from the City has not come out and talked to the owners. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated they will be receiving information from the Tinkleberg Group, <br />and noted they did send out notices of this meeting. She indicated the information should be <br />going out on Monday, and the City Council has a public hearing on April 16. <br /> <br />Mr. Hamilton stated they were notified of the meeting tonight, but should have received a map. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Johnson indicated that was not required by law, but would be good PR. He suggested <br />the Tinkleberg Group supplement their communications. <br /> <br />Case #5 <br /> <br />Proposed Revisions to the Mixed-Use Planned Unit Development Ordinance <br />Established in City Code <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated during the rewrite of Chapter 9 in 2003, Staff brought forward a <br />Mixed-Use Planned Unit Development ordinance that would establish the opportunity for certain <br />parcels to be developed with a mixture of residential and commercial uses. She indicated the <br />intent of the ordinance was to allow flexibility in the appropriate amount of commercial and <br /> <br />Planning Commission/April 1, 2004 <br /> Page 14 of 22 <br /> <br /> <br />
