The creative play area which <br />Public Works Superintendent Mevissen installed this fall seemed to make <br />a nice addition and helped finish the park off. If the creative play <br />area is well used and holds up well, then maybe others should be in- <br />stalled in some of the other parks. <br /> <br />Public Works Superintendent Mevissen was contacted about checking on <br />lighting for the tennis courts and the play area to the south of the <br />tennis courts. Because of the limited size of the play area, the pos- <br />sible increased traffic in and out of the neighborhood park, and added <br />expens~ it would probably not be feasible to light the play area. How- <br />ever, further consideration should be given to lighting the tennis area. <br /> <br />One of the needs for the upcoming skating season was a safe flooring <br />system for the warming house at the Ramsey School.
