Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg, authorizing City Attorney, on behalf of the City of Ramsey, to enter into a settlement with Mr. Hinton whereby the road remains in its present location t~]til it receives permanent improvements and/or utilities. Further Discussion: Councilmember Van Wagner - xvould there be any prob]em moving the road next spring? Mr. Goodrich - that isn't necessary until we blacktop. Councilmember Reimann ~]is agreement would initiate a legal doctm~ent regarding setback, etc., that would come up Mien building permits are applied for. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Re,harm, Sorteberg, Cox and Van Wagner. Voting No' None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. b) Appeal of Special Assessment Project #81-14 Mr. Goodrich - On October 23, 1981, Ramsey was served with a Notice of Intent to Appeal Assessments regarding Project #81-14. I don't feel it was a valid action. c) Resolution Regarding Rezoning Applications for Wes Bulen and Julian Schmidt. Mr. Goodrich read the proposed resolution out loud. Councilmember Cox Feels it is a good idea to hire a professional planner. This is going to be a political decision and we should have more back- ground information. Mr. Goodrich - Planner can tell us what we can expect in the future if we decide to rezone this area and we will be drawing up separate contracts for each applicant in this case. Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adopt Resolution #81-185 regarding Rezoning Applications for Wes Bulenand Julian Schmidt. (see resolution file for Resolution #81-~85). Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Reimann, Cox, Sorteberg and Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec.
