I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Council consensus was to allow for the subdivision of O~tiots A and B in <br />Countryside Estates only, without going through the subdivision code. <br /> <br />Council Recess at 8:45 P.M. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann called the meeting back to order at 9:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Case #4 - Metes and Bounds Subdivision of Land, Plat 89322, Parcel 0040, <br /> Request for; Case of'Mr.~~-f-~k: <br /> <br />Mrs. Herrick was present at the meeting. <br /> <br />Mrs. lterrick was advised .by Council to obtain a sketch plan and present <br />her request to the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Case #5 Miscellaneous Items: 1) Legislation; 2) Resolution Approving <br />....... Tax Levy; 3-) Resolution Setting Total Budget; 4) Resolution <br /> <br />Designating Use o~eral Revenue S~ng F~~ Resolution <br />Esta l~s ~ng Po ~cy Re~arding 'Placing Business on Co~ Agen~a~ <br /> <br />City Ac~ninistrator specifically noted the following resolutions' <br /> <br />1) Resolution #81-176 approving of 1981 tax levy collectible in 1982. <br />2) Resolution #81-175, resolution adopting total budget for year 1982. <br />3) Resolution #81-177, resolution designating use of Federal Revenue <br /> Sharing Funds in the City of Ramsey's 1982 budget. <br />4) Resolution #81-178, resolution establishing policy in regards to <br /> placing business on council agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />note that Council has received and noted the above listed resolutions. <br /> <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Reimann, Sorteberg, Cox and <br />Van Wagner. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />City Administrator elaborated on the meeting with Lt. Governor on September <br />30, 1981 -- We met with Lt. Governor and we discussed the following issues: <br /> <br />1) State Aid to Cities - The Cities of Ramsey, Lake Crystal, and <br /> Skyline made a presentation on this issue. <br /> <br />Taxes as to their Affect on Business and Industry - The Ramsey <br />businessmen, ]~oka businessmen, and Lake Crystal businessmen <br />made a presentation on this issue. <br /> <br />City Administrator stated it was one of the better meetings we have had <br />over at the Capitol, n~inly because we had a fine cross-section of <br />people there from different parts of the State. We asked the Lt. Governor <br />to appoint a task force to review the property tax laws and other laws <br />that have a big impact on commercial and industrial development in the <br />State. We also requested that task force be appointed to study State <br />Aid to Cities. <br /> <br />They have asked us to provide them with names for the above task force <br />from different parts of the State.
