It will <br />also fulfill federal requirements as the Region's plan for controlling <br />"nonpoint" source pollution under Section 208 of the Federal Clean Water Act. <br /> <br />The doc,ment is a plan to deal with the p~oblems caused by snowm, elt and storm <br />water runoff, which carries various pollutants into the Region's rivers, lakes <br />and streams, and causes erosion, flooding and related problems.
