I I i I I I I I I I I I I I I I I TO: FROM: RE: DATE: City Administrator Building Official Monthly Report November 17, 1981 Activity in the building area continued at a moderate pace with four houses again this month. I have continued working on the easement acquisition on various evenings and have now called everyone at least once. There has been some success with several parties signing and others indicating they would be in. I will go through the entire list again probably the first week in December when the incentive of some additional unplanned funds would be more appreciated. We have had a preconstruction meeting with the contractor for the lower level of City Hall and if everything procedes normally, they should be starting construction the first week in December. Also present at the meeting were a representative from HUD and our architect whom we will have to retain for some further work which will include the preparation of contracts, etc. The boiler is continuing to operate properly and has not yet lost any water. Hopefully this will solve our problems once and for all. At the time the boiler work was completed, I also had the contractor investigate what appeared to be an apparent pump failure in the septic system. However, it was discovered the problem is in the alarm which will have to be repaired by an electrician. Permits issued, mileage, and inspections are as follows: Permits Issued A. Houses 4 B.
