I I I TO: I FROM: RE: Enclc I CASE I CASE #2: Councilmembers may want to review their 1982 budget that they adopted on October, 28, 1981 in regards to estimated fuel costs for 1982 to heat and cool City Hall. (Please refer to City Hall Activ- ity 101-4094 Line Item 1198, pages27 & 28.) Council Action: No action will be necessary. However, you may want to get moving on this issue. According t~ the letter from North Central Public Service, which is contained in the Letters and Communications section of this agenda, energy costs are going up again. PROPOSED LAND USE ZONING OF GENERAL MILLS PROPERTY IN RAMSEY: I met with Mr. Latvaaho, General Mills Representative, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 5, 1981 at the Ramsey Municipal Center regarding their property and type of zoning they would like to eventually have on it. They are most concerned about the type of zoning our Compre- hensive Plan currently reflects which is R-1. They don't want it shown as such for a number of reasons. Comments: What they will be asking the Ramsey City Council for is a proposed zoning designation for their land which would provide for the following categories: b)c) Residential Industrial ///,~//'~?/ Currently, the City of Ramsey has not gotten into this type of zoning. ~
