The depth to the clay is about 4 or $ feet except at testhole no. 6 where ~ feet of sand was observed. It is expected that the site will afford good foundation support for moderate size structures° For structures with more concentrated soil loadings we would advise a more detailed analysis of the foundation bearing quality of the soils. Ground water which was found to be perched above the clay, will be the most difficult problem for construction at this property. Septic system drain- fields will have to be mounded to maintain adequate clearance above ground ~ater. Base~ents should be kept shallo~ to avoid the ground water.
