Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #81-172 authorizing a one (1) unit assessment for Melvin <br />Jacobs, <br />(Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #81-172). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg <br />and Reimann. Voting no: None. Absent: Councilmembers Cox and Van Wagner. <br /> <br />Motion by Cotmcilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to adopt Resolution #81-173 ordering a Findings of Fact for Mr. Ralph <br />Nissen, 9230 169th Lane NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. (Please refer to <br />resolution file for Resolution #81-173). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg and <br />Re]mann. Voting no: None. Absent: Councilmembers Cox and Van Wagner. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec requests staff to investigate other cases similar to that of <br />Mr. Ralph Nissen, and their outcome. <br /> <br />6) Adoption of Resolution Adopting Assessments for Street Improvement <br /> Project #81-20 (154th Lane NW, Rhinestone Street NW): <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Reimsann <br />to adopt Resolution #81-174, Adopting Assessments for Street Improvement <br />Project #81-20. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #81-174). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg and <br />Reimann. Voting no: None. Absent: Councilmembers Cox and Van Wagner. <br /> <br />MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec mentioned that he would like everybody to be present at the <br />Special Council Meeting, Tuesday, October 20, 1981. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to send a member from Planning and Zoning Commission to the Land Use <br />Workshop sponsored by Minnesota Planning Association at cost of $17.00. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg and <br />Re,mann. Voting No:' None. Absent: Councilmembers Cox and Van Wagner. <br /> <br />Council feels that a policy should be adopted regarding workshops,seminars, <br />etc., so that these requests do not have to be resolved at Council Meetings. <br /> <br />Councilmember Sorteberg stated he received a call from Mr. Paul Chicoine, <br />who is somewhat puzzled about the outcome of his case at the Council <br />Meeting of October 13, 1981. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann suggests staff write him a letter explaining <br />Council's recommendations. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />to adjourn the Special Council Meeting. <br /> <br />C/October 14, 1981 <br /> Special Meeting <br /> Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
