I "'' 'The Anoka County Joint Law
Enforcement Council
IOctober 14, 1981
· Page 4

I In conclusion I feel it is not cost or manpower effective to have a dispatcher
spending an average of 3.6 hours on the telephone for every successful warrant

i hit and recommend the following guidelines to become effective immediately:

i I. The elimination of the Tri-County check. ]
· 2. Limiting special telephone warrant checks to one county only per
I suspect (a couple of officers have indicated that if the term
-- "Tri-County" is eliminated they would get the same checks by
I requesting Anoka, Ramsey and Hennepin by name and possibly add
I other counties.)
3. Advise Hennepin and Ramsey Counties of our decision and encourage them
i to enter the warrants they consider important into the MINCIS system.

I name and date of birth.
ir

I Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments regarding
· this matter.

I Donald R. ~wyer ~
DRD/jr
I

I

I

i

I

I

I
