Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich regarding Drainage Easements: <br /> <br />In regards to acquiring drainage easements for 1981 Improvement Projects, <br />offering ½ of fair market value to deed holders adds up to quite a bit of <br />money and we should have authorization from Council to do so. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Van Wagner, seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg, <br />to authorize the City Staff to acquire necessary drainage easements concerning <br />the 1981 Improvement Projects and to offer each property owner payment at <br />the rate of $6000/acre x 50%, which 50% is the amount of utility the City <br />feels the landowner is left with after conveying the easement to the City. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Cox, Van Wagner, Sorteberg <br />and Reimann. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />B.
