LAWRENCE J. FERBER, 17501 BAUGH STREET NW (PLAT <br />89870, PARCEL 6500): <br /> <br /> ~fHEREAS~ Mm. Lawrence J. Ferber stated at the public hearing on <br />September 8. 1981, which was held to adopt the special assessments for Public <br />I~rovement Project #80-15 (bituminous smrfacing of streets ~ that he should <br />not be assessed, as he did not receive a benefit from it, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of <br />Minnesota directed City Staff to investigate the legality of assessing Plat <br />89870, Parcel 6500 for the above street improvement, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Building Official did submit a memo to the City Admin- <br />istrator dated September 15, 1981 stating that the above parcel of land is a <br />corner lot and that ~[r. Ferber does not have a driveway to 176th Avenue which <br />falls within the purview of City Ordinance #80-8. <br /> <br />NOW FHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF R~MSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) That the one (1) unit special assessment in the amount of $1,593.77 <br />levied against Plat 89870, Parcel 6500 be changed to one-half (½) unit special <br />assessment in the amount of $796.87 by reason of Section 210.015 of the City <br />Ordinance #80-8. <br /> <br /> 2) That the above deleted one-half (½) unit special assessment in <br />the amount of $796.87 will become the City's share of costs. <br /> <br /> 3) It is further directed that the following administrative action be <br />accomplished on this case: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />That the City Accountant be furnished a copy of this resolu- <br />tion so that appropriate action may be taken in the accounting <br />and assessment records. <br /> <br />b) That a copy of this resolution be filed in Improvement Project <br /> #80-15's file. <br /> <br />c) That Mr. Larry J. Ferber, 17501 Baugh Street, be furnished a <br /> copy of this Resolution #81- <br /> <br /> <br />
