D-3 ADDENDUM TO COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS Enclosure (D3-c) Mr. Chicoine's application for metes and bounds subdivision request CASE ~4: I I KAROL ANDRF2~SON RE: PREPARING AND DELIVERING OF PIZZA WITHIN THE CITY: ~ Karol Andreason currently has a vendors license to sell ice cream, pop, etc. in the City of Ramsey. Now she wants to prepare and sell pizza through this same license. However, there is a problem in that the home occupation permit allows for her to take orders over the phone, but the preparing of the pizzas in her vendor vehicle which she intends to do is not covered in the home occupation ordinanc'e as it is not the principle structure on the property. As you are aware, our code requires that all activities .relating to a home Occupation be carried on within the principle structure of the residence. It is therefore the Staff's interpretation that a home occupation permit is required. Council Action: Your action would be either to allow the hpplicant to expand and prepare pizza in the vehicle based on the vendors permit pre- viously issued, or to accept Staff's i~terpretation and require the ap- plicant to obtain a home occupation permit and therefore commence the home occupation procesS. CASE #5: SUBDIVISION BY METES AND BOUNDS, REQUEST FOR; CASE OF MR. PAUL CHICOINE: Chicoine wants to split away a 2% acre 10t from a 40 acre parcel by metes and bounds. The zoning on this parcel.is Urban Conservation which is meant for low density residential because of the nature of the Council Action: Your action will be to approve/disapprove of a metes and bOunds subdivision.
