By collecting data for 1976, 1978, 1979, and 1980 <br />attention can be focused on factors and trends to ascertain if fiscal <br />problems are developing in your community. <br /> <br />To complete the MFHP profile for your city we would appreciate your completing <br />the attached chart. Please return it to this office in the enclosed self- <br />addressed envelope as soon as possible. We, in turn, will send you our <br />interpretation of the statistics as soon as we have analyzed the data. <br /> <br />By way of explanation of some of the items on the chart, the following may <br />be of some help to you. We would like to have: <br /> <br />For item one use the dollar value of all building permits <br />(both residential and non-residential .~-~--If you know only <br />one of these numbers, please specify what you used. <br /> <br />For item two use the number of all building permits (both <br />residential and non-residential .]~--If you know only one of <br />these numbers, please specify what you used. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />For item three include the cost of all fringe benefits. At <br />a minimum this should include pensions, social security, <br />health and/or dental insurance, worker's compensation, <br />unemployment insurance and severance pay. If you fund <br />vacation or sick lea~e, please include these amounts. <br />Separate totals should be recorded for enterprise employees. <br /> <br />Item ten is asking for the dollar amount of taxes that are <br />still uncollected for each of the specified years. <br /> <br />Ifyou cannot complete all items on the chart, please give us all of the <br />information that you' can.
