The Ramsey City <br />Ramsey Municipal <br />Members Present: <br />Members Absent: <br />Also Present: <br />1. <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the <br />Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Acting Mayor Pro Tem Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Jill Johns <br />Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember Melody Shryock <br />Councilmember Kristine Williams <br />Mayor Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember John LeTourneau <br />City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Finance Director Diana Lund <br />Fire Marshal/Interim Fire Chief Carey Schiferli <br />Police Chief Jeff Katers <br />Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br />Human Resources Manager Colleen Lasher <br />City Clerk Jo Ann Thieling <br />Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill <br />City Engineer Bruce Westby <br />Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Patrick Brama <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Councilmember Riley called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 <br />p.m. <br />Motion by Councilmember Johns, seconded by Councilmember Kuzma, to appoint <br />Councilmember Chris Riley as Acting Mayor Pro Tem. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Johns, Kuzma, Riley, Shryock, and Williams. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Strommen and Councilmember LeTourneau. <br />Acting Mayor Pro Tem Riley led the pledge of allegiance. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br />Elwyn Tinklenberg, The Tinklenberg Group, reported that the legislative session began today <br />and provided an update noting that both the House and Senate are confident that they will be able <br />City Council / March 8, 2016 <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />
