CC Regular Session 4. 7. <br />Meeting Date: 03/22/2016 <br />By: Mark Riverblood, Engineering/Public <br />Works <br />Information <br />Title <br />Adopt Resolution #16-03-055 Authorizing a Bike Trail with the ROW of Hwy #10 <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to secure a permit to construct the Mississippi River Trail within the ROW of Hwy #10. <br />Resolution 016-03-055 is required for MnDOT to prepare the actual Limited Use Permit (LUP). The LUP attached, <br />is a draft document to detail what will be contained in Ramsey's LUP. The document language cannot be altered. <br />The process is as follows: <br />City approves resolution to enter into a LUP with MnDOT. <br />MnDOT prepares the LUP once the resolution is received. <br />City signs agreement. <br />MnDOT signs agreement. <br />MnDOT approves plans and specs <br />City issues Invitation to Bid <br />City Council considers Bids <br />Funding Source: <br />Approval of Bids for the final phase of the Mississippi River Trail will occur at a later City Council meeting in <br />2016.
