I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />,! <br /> ! <br /> <br />zl <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br />FINDINGS OF FACT re Suzanne Lawson <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> <br />~) <br /> <br />That the applicant has properly applied for a conditional use permit <br />as required by ordinance to operate and maintain a beauty shop. <br /> <br />That the applicant appeared before the Planning and Zoning Commission' <br />for a public hearing pursuant to City Zoning Ordinance on July 7, 1981. <br />~at said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes <br />of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3) That the Standards for Consideration are as follows: <br /> <br />a) The property is zoned R-1 and this is not a permitted use. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />The adjoining properites are residential dwellings located <br />on approximately one acre pamcels. <br /> <br />The closest similar use is within a distance ~f approximately <br />two (2) m~les. <br /> <br />d) There will be no adverse affect to traffic flow in the area. <br /> <br />e) There are f6ur (4) known beauty shops in operation within the <br /> City which to our knowledge have not caused neighborhood problems. <br /> <br />f) <br /> <br />Properly maintained, the beauty shop will not affect the life <br />style of the neight~ring residents in a residential setting. <br />Further, it should not affeot the enjoyment op value of properties <br /> <br /> in the v~cinlty. <br /> <br />That the C~itePia fop Approval/Disapproval a~e as follows: <br /> <br />a) The applicant's request, to be the sole operator of a beauty <br /> shop,, should not be detrimental to om endanger the public health, <br /> safety, or general welfare and is not cont-~ary to established <br /> standards as regulated by City Codes~ <br /> <br />b) The applicant's proposed beauty shop will be inspected by the <br /> local building official and said repor~ w~3_l be incorporated as <br /> a part of these findings. <br /> <br />c) The lot size and proposed beauty shop location should not' be .un- <br /> sitely or undesirable oP obnoxious in .appearance and should not <br /> hinder the orderly and harmonious development of' the City or the <br /> district where herein proposed. <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />The plans submitted show adequate wm'ter supply.. The sewage dis- <br />posal facilities may have to be improved. <br /> <br /> <br />
