! <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A public hearing was called to order by Mayor Gamec regarding Improvement <br />Project ~80-17 at the Ramsey Municipal Center,.15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., <br />Ramsey, Minnesota, at 8:02 P.M. on September 8, 1981. <br /> <br />Me~3ers Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Reimann <br />Councilmember Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Cox <br />Councilmenfoer Van Wagner <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka <br />City Administrator Schnelle <br />City Attorney Goodrich <br /> <br />Presentation by City Engineer Raatikka regarding proposed assessments for <br />Street Improvement Project #80-17 (Tungsten Street). <br /> <br />Roger Dickenson - 6150 Hwy. 10 - City notices which should be sent to me <br />are being sent to my son in Elk River. Mr. Dickenson would also like to <br />vacate and barricade a portion of the dead end road adjacent to his property. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox stated that the barricade should be placed beyond the driveway <br />onto the property. <br /> <br />Ramsey City Council is in agreement that Mr. Dickenson may barricade this <br />portion of dead end road on his property. <br /> <br />Jim Probinino - 6304 Hwy. 10 - Anoka Kawasaki - Will receive no benefit from <br />Improvement Project #80-17. Map included in Council agenda is incorrect. <br />Front Street does not go all the way through to Anoka Kawasaki. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that there is road right-of-way, but there is actually no <br />road. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that Mr. Bill Dickenson had wanted to make <br />comments on this project, but he has been in the hospital. <br /> <br />Kerry O'Rourke - 6232 R/vlyn - asked who made the decision, on how the residents <br />would be assessed, and was informed Council makes the decision after a <br />public hearing. Mr. O'Rourke requested a copy of assessment costs. <br /> <br />Mrs. Roger Dickenson - 6150 Hwy. 10 - Why are Rivlyn and Front Street <br />residents being assessed when the work was on Tungsten?
