I I I i I I I I I I I I I I I I I I CASE #13: ACTING ON PROPOSED USE PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING USE OF REVENUE SHARING FUNDS: The City of Ramsey is required by law to hold a public hearing for proposed uses of these funds. ACcordingly, enclosure (D2-j) contains the following documentation for Council review'in acting on this case. a) Statement of Assurance - This has been signed and returned to Revenue Sharing on September 14, 1981. We will be re- ceiving $42,414 for Entitlement Period 13 (which goes from October 1, 1981 thru September 30, 1982). b) Instruction on procedure to use Revenue Sharing funds which Councilmembers should review. c) Memo from City Accountant to City Administrator dated September 17, 1981 regarding City's use of Revenue Sharing money during the City's current fiscal year (which goes from January 1, 1981 thru December 31,~ 1981). d) Published notice in the Anoka Union regarding Revenue Sharing public hearing on proposed uses. We will have the following revenue sharing funds available in fiscal year 1982: $40,771 $42,414 Approximate carry over from fiscal year 1981 To be received in Entitlement Year 1982 CASE #14: $~3,185 Approximate amount for use in fiscal year 1982 Council Action: Your action will be to set a date for revenue sharing budget hearing and also to give Council Budget Committee direction as to where you want the uses. The following are some considerations for proposed uses: . a) Ramsey'Municipal Center Lower Area will need additional funding it appears. b) 1982 proPosed core budget capital outlay items c) 1982 proposed supplement capital outlay items MISCELLANEOUS'ITEMS (LANDFILL REPORT;'DEED'FOR'CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND, RAMSEY REPORTER,~RINTI~ SCHEDULE): Enclosure (D2-k) contains the following items: a) August 1981 Monthly Landfill report for Council to at least note in the minutes that they revie~ed~it.
