City <br />Attorney Goodrich replied that the City of Ramsey will send copies of <br />wpdated ordinance to all service stations in P~msey and those stations <br />have until June of 1982 to comply. Councilm~n Cox stated that owners <br />of existing stations ~should have had a say in this matter, but he also <br />feels that all stations should have to comply with this ordinance if <br />approved. '-: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />the adoption of Ordirmnce #81-5 requiring se~nzice stations to provide <br />compressed air for customers. Further that the said ordinance be <br />publiched in the official newspaper. Please refer to City Ordinances <br />for ordinance. Further Discussion: Councilman Sorteberg asked if~ <br />hand pmnps qualified. Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, Cox and Van Wagner. 'Voting No: <br />Mayor Gamec. <br /> <br />CASE ~6 -MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION REGARDING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: <br /> 1-) RAMSEY LANDFILL MONTHLY REPORT; 2) RU~ RIVER BRIDGE <br /> <br /> CROSSING; 5) TRAFFIC COUNT OF MSA STREETS: <br /> <br />Council noted the following correspondence: <br /> <br />a) Letter from Anoka Count- containing July Landfill report, dated <br /> August 10, 1981. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />Letter from Anoka County updated, regarding Ramsey Landfill being <br />submitted as a possible solid waste landfill. <br /> <br />Letter from County Commissioner Fields dated August 14, 1981, <br />regarding his action on the. Rum River Bridge. <br /> <br />Commissioner Fields" letter dated July 50, 1981, to senator <br />Durenberger.. <br /> <br />e) Commissioner Fields' letter dated J~ly 30, 1981', to Senator Boschwitz. <br /> <br /> f) Senator Bosch~itz' letter dated August 6, 1981, to the Secretary of <br /> Transportation. <br /> <br /> g) Letter from Senator. The memo pointed out that the City Administrator, City <br />Engineer and City Attorney had met and discussed the status of the present <br />;bpnd market and also reviewed recent bond sales.
