The guidelines propose establishing final deadlines for: 1) resuming comprehensive plan reviews that have been suspended by the Council; and 2) submittal of comprehensive plans that have not y~t been received. The memorandum also includes steps the Council proposes to take if the guidelines are not met. I I I I I I I The Council's Physical Development Committee will discuss the guidelines at its meetings on September 3 and 10. The Council is expected to adopt the guidelines on September 10 at 2:30 p.m., at the Council offices. You are encouraged to review the guidelines and make your comments to the Physical Development Comittee. The Committee' is especially interested in knowing: 1) if the staff report accurately represents the status of your community's planning process; and 2) what effects the guidelines would have if imp lement ed. Written comments should be sent;to Tom Caswell of the Council's staff. You may appear before the committee .at Bither of its two meetings.
