Voting Yes: ~yor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Reimann, Cox and Van lVagner. <br /> <br />CASE #8 - DICKENSON BROS - REQUEST FOR VARIANCE <br /> <br />Mr. Dickenson re-stated to ~. Gamec, who was not present during Citizen <br />Input, his request to expand his overhaul and repair facility with the <br />waiving of the asphalt requirement and expensive beautifying of said <br />property. <br /> <br />~.~yor Gamec stated that waiving of the asphalt reqp{$ement is no problem, <br />but cannot waiver beautifying completely, <br /> <br />Mr. Dickenson understands that Council requires a foinnal Site and Design <br />Plan, but time is of the essence, and he needs a waiver on the asphalt <br />requirement now. <br /> <br />Councilwoman VanWagner stated that shrubs around the building is not as <br />important as a row of tees placed so ak to block view of buses parked on <br />property. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox advises Mr. Dickenson to get a formal Site and Design <br />Plan and .present his request again at the September 8, 1981, Council <br />Meeting. : r <br /> .~ · <br />D-4 - BOARD OF ADJUS~ <br /> <br /> CASE #1 - MR. DONALD SAVITSKI RE.ST FOR VARIANCE, 16244 RAMSEY BLVD: " <br /> <br /> Motion by' Councilwoman Van Wagner, seconded by Councilman Sorteberg, to <br /> adopt Findings of Fact and approve Mr. Savitski's request for a variance. <br /> Further Discussion: Councilman Reimann asked Mr. Savitski if he was <br /> aware of the Findings .of Fact and the contract he would have to enter <br /> into. Mr. Savitski rePlied he was' not. Councilman Cox advised that <br /> some wording' be included in the deed to the effect that this oversized <br /> garage cannot be used as a place of business. Motion was table to give <br /> Mr. Savitski a chance to read over the Finding of Fact. <br /> <br />· Motion by Councilwoman Van Wagner, seconded by Councilmn Sortebeig, to <br /> adopt Findings of Fact and approve Mr. 'Savitski's request for a variance. <br /> Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Sorteberg, Reimann, Cox and <br /> Van Wagner. Voting No: None.
