If the choice is made to claim a special <br />levy under chapter 201, please provide a copy of the certification of the minimum <br />obligation received from the Volunteer Firefighter's Relief Association. <br /> Examples: Not Allowable <br /> A levy for reduction of the deficit of the Police and Fire Fund of PERA. This <br /> fund is considered to be fully funded. <br /> <br /> A levy for the cost of the employer's share of Social Security costs. <br /> <br />Schedule P: EMPLOYER COMMUTER VAN PROGRAM <br /> <br /> The levy by a city or county for an employer vans acquisition program under <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 174.27 is a special levy. <br /> <br /> The levy for establishment of the program should not be greater than the <br />amount that 0.1 mill would raise. <br /> <br /> The levy for administration of the program is limited to the amount raised <br />by 0 01 mill <br /> <br />Schedule Q: MINNESOTA RIVER BASIN AREA II <br /> <br /> This special levy is applicable only to the counties of Blue Earth, Brown, <br />Cottonwood, Lac Qui Parle, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Pipestone, Redwood and Yellow <br />Medicine. Any one of these counties can levy up to 0.25 mill for the purpose of <br />providing financial assistance to local governmental units under Minnesota Statutes, <br />Sections 104.42 to 104.50 (limited to 12.5% of the total cost of the project which <br />is of common benefit to Area II in order to match grants from the state Soil and <br />Water Conservation Board) and to pay administrative, engineering and legel expenses <br />of common benefit to Area II. <br /> <br />Schedule R: PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENTS RESULTING FROM COMMISSIONER OF REVENUE ORDERED REASSESSMENTS ~,'-~ "--.,, . <br /> <br /> This is a special levy to recover losses in tax receipts due to abatements or <br />court .action in 1980 resulting from a reassessment ordered by the Commissioner of <br />Revenue. Unlike Schedule N, a county government may claim this special levy. A <br />city or town using this schedule may not include the same amounts in. a special levy <br />claimed under Schedule N. .. . ~. <br /> <br />Subdivision 6: SHADE TREE DISEASE"CONTROL <br /> Laws 1981, Chapter 261 extJ~ds' the special levy for the costs of shade tree <br />disease control programs under Minnesota Statutes, Section 18.023 to the levy years <br />1981 and 1982.
