Councilmember Shryock introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #16-03-057 <br />RESOLUTION RELATED TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR ANDRIE STREET <br />AND 164th LANE RECONSTRUCTION, CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #16-00 <br />DIVISION C, STATE AID PROJECT #199-125-001 AND #199-126-001 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has planned for the improvement of 164th Lane NW, <br />State Aid Route No. 199-125-001, from Jarvis Street to Andrie Street, and Andrie Street NW, <br />State Aid Route No. 199-126-001, from Alpine Drive to 164th Lane, both located within the <br />City of Ramsey, Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both <br />sides of these streets; and approval of the proposed reconstruction as Municipal State Aid Streets <br />must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City of Ramsey shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on the south side of <br />164th Lane NW and the west side of Andrie Street NW at all times. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Strommen <br />Councilmember Shryock <br />Councilmember Johns <br />Councilmember Kuzma <br />Councilmember LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Williams <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />
