5.01: Open -to -Business Program Update <br />Econ. Dev. Mgr/Assistant City Administrator Brama updated the Board on the Open -to -Business <br />program. He noted that Anoka County is going to continue with this program through 2016 and <br />will pay for it. He thought this program was helpful for him in working with small prospects and <br />startup businesses. <br />5.02: Business Retention and Expansion Program Update <br />Econ. Dev. Mgr/Assistant City Administrator Brama updated the Board on the Business <br />Retention and Expansion Program. <br />5.03: 2016 Annual EDA Business Expo <br />Econ. Dev. Mgr/Assistant City Administrator Brama introduced Nicki Wenberg to the Board. <br />Ms. Wenberg gave an update on the 2016 Annual EDA Business Expo. <br />Econ. Dev. Mgr/Assistant City Administrator Brama stated this year the City will provide tote <br />bags that will be given out to the patrons in order for them to collect and keep handouts as they <br />move through the expo. <br />Member Skaff asked if this would help in tracking the number of people coming to the expo. <br />Econ. Dev. Mgr/Assistant City Administrator Brama indicated that was one of the reasons for the <br />bags. <br />Econ. Dev. Mgr/Assistant City Administrator Brama updated the Board on various items that <br />have occurred over the past two months in the City. <br />City Administrator Ulrich also updated the Board on events and items happening in the City. <br />6. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Member Riley, seconded by Member Skaff, to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Steffen, Members Riley, Skaff, Burandt, Brunt, <br />Hardin, and Williams. Voting No: None.
