IMPLEMENTATION PRIORITIES
Mid -Term Priority
Two projects were identified in the mid-term priority and would remove the final two traffic signals at Ram-
sey Blvd (CSAR 561 and Sunfish Lake Blvd (CSAH 571. Both locations need additional project scoping and re-
view before a final footprint can be identified; however, less costly and incremental alternatives to previous
single -point interchanges as part of the freeway vision were identified. These projects are likely to be 10+
years in the future and as a result will likely require additional project scoping to confirm needs at that time.
Removal or partial removal of these remaining signals can be expected to cost 23-45 million dollars. Coupled
with immediate and short-term priorities, the mid-term priority projects would accomplish nearly 90 percent of
the safety and operational benefits for 1/3 or less of the cost of the freeway.
HIGHWAY 10 ACCESS PLANNING STUDY 91
