Regular Planning Commission <br />Meeting Date: 01/07/2016 <br />By: Tim Gladhill, Community Development <br />Title: <br />Receive Staff Update <br />6. 1. <br />Information <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The purpose of this case is to receive an update on recent project and policy discussions. <br />Notification: <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Casey's General Store. The construction of Casey's General Store at the intersection of Sunwood Drive and Ramsey <br />Boulevard is nearing completion and expected to open in January. <br />Parkview East.Construction of this 121 unit apartment building located just south of The Draw Park and <br />Amphitheater continues to progress. Footings, foundation, and underground plumbing internal to the building are <br />complete. Construction on the wall sections has commenced. <br />Sunwood Village. Construction of this 47 unit apartment building located west of the Ramsey Municipal Center <br />continues to progress. Footings and foundation work is complete. <br />Woodlands.Construction of the public infrastructure of this 32 lot (out of 85) single-family development located <br />east of Variolite Street near 161st Avenue is nearing completion. Underground utilities and public road up to the <br />first lift of asphalt is complete. Connection to the sanitary sewer trunk system has been completed and will be tested <br />for use in the near future. The City has issued six (6) new home permits for this development. <br />Harvest Estates.Construction of the public infrastructure of this 32 lot (out of 44) single-family development is <br />substantially complete. Only minor site work and wear -course on the public road remain. The City is issued two (2) <br />new home permits for this development. <br />Brookfield 6th Addition.Construction of this 19 lot single-family development is complete. The City has issued <br />seven (7) new home permits for this development. <br />Armstrong Interchange. Entrance and Exit Ramps on the north and south sides of the interchange are open to traffic. <br />The bridge across the railroad tracks and Highway 10 is scheduled to open on or near December 30, 2015. <br />Annual Report and Work Plan.At the December Meeting, the Annual Report and Work Plan were discussed. In <br />order to get final numbers for 2015 and complete several other tasks, this discussion topic will be brought forward <br />to the February Meeting. <br />Funding Source: <br />Recommendation: <br />Action: <br />
