The indoor sports center is pro- <br />posed as an inflatable dome on the western <br />portion of the lot in the center part of the photo <br />and is considered to be the principal use of <br />the property. The zoning district in which the <br />development is to be located has a 35 -foot <br />height limit, but the applicant is proposing a <br />dome that would reach 76 feet, necessitating <br />a variance application. Planner Brian Slaugh, <br />AICP, used the photo simulation in his report to <br />demonstrate the visual impact of the dome's <br />height. <br />In Branchburg, New Jersey, a tractor com- <br />pany requested a minor site plan approval to <br />construct a carport canopy with roof -mounted <br />solar panels over a previously approved, <br />fenced outdoor storage area.
