7.04: Consider Adopting Resolution #16-03-054 Appointing Councilmember Kristine <br />Williams to the Fit for the Future Community Task Force, Anoka -Hennepin School. <br />District <br />City Administrator Ulrich reviewed the staff report and recommendation to adopt Resolution <br />#16-03-054 appointing Councilmember Kristine Williams to serve on the Fit for the Future <br />Community Task Force, Anoka -Hennepin School District. <br />Mayor Strommen commended Councilmember Williams for volunteering to serve on the task <br />force. <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember LeTourneau, to Adopt <br />Resolution #16-03-054 Appointing Councilmember Kristine Williams to Serve on the Fit for the <br />Future Community Task Force, Anoka -Hennepin School District. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Riley, LeTourneau, Johns, <br />Kuzma, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br />7.05: Authorize 2016 City of Ramsey Resident Survey <br />Asst. City Administrator/Economic Development Manager Brama reviewed the staff report and <br />recommendation to authorize the 2016 City of Ramsey Resident Survey. <br />Councilmember Williams appreciated that staff incorporated the comments of the Council and <br />had no issue with the questions as proposed. <br />Councilmember Kuzma also appreciated the rewording of question 17. He believed that the <br />question will be helpful in gauging the level of public support as road projects continue to move <br />forward. <br />Motion by Councilmember LeTourneau, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to authorize the <br />2016 City of Ramsey Resident Survey. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers LeTourneau, Johns, Kuzma, <br />Riley, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. <br />Mayor Strommen thanked staff for their work on developing and rewording the questions. <br />7.06: Consider Authorizing Evaluation of Highway 10 and Ramsey Boulevard <br />Intersection Grade Separation Alternatives <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that this case is to ask for authorization for an evaluation of the <br />Highway 10 and Ramsey Boulevard intersection grade separation alternatives. He noted that this <br />is part of a grant application for federal funds that could be used for the rail crossing and <br />Highway 10. <br />City Council / March 22, 2016 <br />Page 9 of 11 <br />
