The Commission's consensus is that they will need time to digest the <br />information presented by Mr. Marston. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson requeste8 that a meeting be scheduled inviting Mayor <br />Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg and Cox and Administrator Schnelle and himself <br />to go over the information presented by ~@. Marston this evening. <br /> <br />RonWest asked that Industrial classifications be discussed at the next <br />meeting and that the site plan ordinance be modified or changed so that more <br />applications could be hand~.ed at the staff level through use of the ordinance <br />as a tool and any exceptional cases or hardships would be the only cases <br />reviewed by P & Z as he feels it is rather frugal for them to be reviewing some <br />of the small additions etc~, khat are coming in. <br /> <br />Mr. Hubbard agreed that if they meet the requirements of the ordinance that it <br />should not be necessary for P & Z to review each one of these applications. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:30 P.M. <br /> <br />ALBERT SWEN - REQUEST FOR ACCESS THROUGH 'OUTLOT "'A"' DEERWOOD ADDITION <br /> <br />7:40 P.M. <br />Discussion was held on Mr.:Swen's access problem. ~]e public hearing <br />was held this date and two iperSons appeared after the hearing to comment <br />on this proposal. <br /> <br />Sherry Thole, 17440 Gibbon Street N.W., said she is concerned that they will <br />experience water problems due to drainage being disturbed by creating a <br />road out of Outlot "A". <br /> <br />Mr. Harvey Wibeto, 17511 Gibbon Street N.W., also expressed concern about the <br />drainage and questioned which way the water would be directed when the street <br />area is filled in. <br /> <br />The Commission informed these two concerned property owners that no road could <br />be installeduntil Mr. Swen !obtained a permit from the Department of Natural <br />Resources so that natural drainage isn't disturbed. <br /> <br />Motion by Gerald Zimmerman and seconded by Ben Deemer to allow the use of <br />Outlot"N', Deerwood Addition as access to Parcel 7800, Plat 89205, City <br />of Ramsey, Anoka County, M~ subject to permission from the Dept. of Natural <br />Resources to fill in the area to create a road, subject to permission from N.S.P. <br />to build a road under the power line easement and that the road be dedicated to <br />the City of Ramsey and brought up to City standards by the owner of the property, <br />Mr. Swen. Further, that if the road extends beyond 300 feet that the entire <br />road be blacktopped or money escrowed for the purpose of blacktopping and that <br />no building permits shall be issued unless the property fronts at least 300 <br />feet on the road. <br /> <br />Motion carried. 5-0 <br /> <br />P & Z WORK SESSION <br /> 9/18/79 Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
