Sec. 38-33. - Alcoholic beverages. <br />(a) No person shall bring, have in their possession, or consume alcoholic beverages at any time in any <br />park, except as provided in subsection (b) of this section. <br />(b) Consumption of 3.2 percent malt liquor is permitted in parks if purchased from a person licensed to <br />sell in such park, pursuant to the provisions of chapter 6. All sales shall be individual drinks and shall <br />be served for consumption on the license premises. <br />(Code 1978, § 5.06.15) <br />Sec. 6-4. - Consumption in public places. <br />No person shall consume intoxicating liquor or 3.2 percent malt liquor in a public park, on any public <br />street, sidewalk, parking lot or alley, or in any public place other than on the premises of an establishment <br />licensed under this chapter or where the consumption and display of liquor is lawfully permitted. <br />Except by permit or license, no person shall consume intoxicating liquor or 3.2 percent malt liquor in a <br />public park, on any public street, sidewalk, parking lot or alley, or in any public place other than on the <br />premises of an establishment licensed under this chapter or where the consumption and display of liquor <br />is lawfully permitted. <br />(Code 1978, § 7.51.05; Ord.
