<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #16-03-058 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND ORDERING PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #16-00, DIVISION B; 2016 STREET <br />MAINTENANCE PROGRAM OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />th <br /> WHEREAS, <br />pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted February 8, 2016, a <br />Feasibility Report was prepared by the City Engineer with reference to proposed bituminous <br />pavement mill and overlay improvements on the segment of Sunwood Drive from Sunfish Lake <br />Boulevard to the bridge located east of 147th Lane and west of Krypton Street within the City of <br />Ramsey as Division B of the 2016 Street Maintenance Program, including other appurtenant work <br />as needed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />benefiting properties are proposed to be assessed for 25-percent of the cost <br />of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429, and in accordance with <br />Chapter 8 of the City Charter, applicable City codes, and the City’s Special Assessments Policy; <br />and <br /> <br />nd <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City Council received the Feasibility Report on March 22, 2016; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the Feasibility Report provides information regarding whether the proposed <br />project is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible, and whether they should best be made as <br />proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) The Council will consider the proposed improvements for Division B of City Improvement <br />Project #16-00 in accordance with the Feasibility Report and the assessment of benefiting <br />properties for 25-percent of the cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statues <br />Chapter 429, and in accordance with Chapter 8 of the City Charter, applicable City codes, <br />and the City of Ramsey’s adopted Special Assessments Policy at an estimated total cost of <br />$301,000. <br /> <br />th <br />2) A Public Hearing will be held on such improvements on April 12, 2016 in the Council <br />Chambers of City Hall at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice <br />of such hearing and improvements as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Johns, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
