Councilmember Shryock commented that it is neat to see a builder and developer that are <br />interested in problem solving and working with what is there to find a product that fits. She <br />stated that if this moves forward she would be interested to see what is developed. <br />Councilmember Williams stated that the EDA is in favor of this as they recognize the challenges <br />of the site and this developer and builder seem to be willing to take on that challenge. <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Shryock, to approve the <br />Purchase Agreement with Lifestyle Construction Services LLC, subject to the review and <br />approval of the City Attorney. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers Kuzma, Shryock, Johns, <br />Riley, and Williams. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember LeTourneau. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. <br />City Planner Anderson reported that the recycling event this last weekend was a great successful <br />and provided a brief update. <br />Councilmembers Riley and Kuzma congratulated Community Development Director Gladhill for <br />the recent birth of his child. <br />Mayor Strommen stated that she recently attended the Minnesota Mayors Conference and <br />provided a brief update, noting that the most valuable asset was the ability to chat with mayors <br />from other communities to gain their input. She stated that road repair and reconstruction is a <br />big issue for many of the communities, noting the high assessment costs that some cities have in <br />the range of $30,000. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to adjourn the meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 8:40 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kurtis G.
