Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />#16-05-101 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PERMANENT TRAIL EASEMENT AGREEMENT ON <br />OUTLOT B, NORTHFORK AND OUTLOT A, NORTHFORK TRAIL ADDITION <br />WHEREAS, the City finds it in the public interest to provide a public pedestrian trail <br />connection through Outlot B, Northfork, and Outlot A, Northfork Trail Addition to serve the <br />needs of City residents (the "Public Improvement Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Improvement Project provides a reasonable alternate pedestrian <br />connection to the connection identified in the City's Master Park and Trail Plan along Andrie <br />Street NW and 164th Lane NW; and <br />WHEREAS, the City agrees to acquire the easements necessary for the Public <br />Improvement Project as described in the legal descriptions included in the easement agreement <br />in Exhibit A (the "Permanent Easements"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City declares that it is in the public interest to acquire the Permanent <br />Easement above described. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That in order to carry out the purposes and objectives described above it is necessary to <br />acquire the Permanent Easement. <br />2. That the City Administrator is hereby directed to acquire the Permanent Easement as <br />described above in accordance with Minnesota Statutes. <br />3. That the City Administrator is authorized to negotiate and represent the City of Ramsey in <br />all proceedings. <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />RESOLUTION# 16-05-101 <br />
