A1 Sortebere made a Motioh to recommend to the City Council to grant a variance to"subdivision o~dinance to subdivide the Southerly 130' of the commercial lot as described in l~egal description: The S 394.37 feet of the West 524 feet Ex the Sout~ 233 feet of the West and South lines thereof, as measured along the West ahd South Lines thereof of the Southwest 1/4 of the South- west 1/4 of Sec. 22, Town~hip 32, Range 25, Anoka Co. MN Subject to an easement for road purposes over th~ West 60 feet thereof and over the East 66 feet thereof and over the _ Ithereof over East 66 feet and the South 33 feet thereof. Limonite and Ramsey Road.I Seconded by Ron West;Carried 6 - O. Tom Moorhouse abstained because he did not have time to view the property. A1 Sorteberg mvoed to recommend to the City Council to grant a variance to issue a building permi~ to build on the westerly part of the described commercial lot with a frohtaqe of 161.37 feet instead of the required 200' frontage, Seconded b~ Ken Peterson and Carried 6 - O, Tom Moorhouse abstained - same reason ~s above. Don Greenberg, Discussion on road through Industrial Park. Don Greenberg stated that Mayor Cox is working with ~!Y.~ Menkveld on the road through his land. on'also said that the county wanted to benin construction on this roa. by fall. ! Feasibility Study is bei~§ proposed (costing about $11,000) as to its possibility of present a~rport becoming a municipal airport. 80 - 90% of cost will be paid by sta~e & federal agencies, and 10% + by industrial park owners. ! - Don Greenberg stated tha~ this airport is the tenth highest in the state as to number of take offs and landings.
