Mr. Yentsch <br /> appeared before the Council at the November 8th meeting with <br /> this request for a l~t split. (drawing attached) Referred to P & Z <br />~. _~.!:r'~i[l~,~.~n~Y,...67~.2_J81st Avenue N.W., Anoka, Minnesota 55303 ~=~-_e_~:~_a_~__d <br /> Request~ to split off a parcel of land from existing homestead~ <br /> <br /> Mr, Ranne¥ has sold his farm along with his present home. He <br /> wants to split a parcel 163.0 feet X 1245.0 feet off of the original <br /> piece to build a home. Mr. Ranney was not aware that this required <br /> special permission. ~Also, he has the whole dug for the house and it <br /> is situated in the middle of the proposed new lot. Note that this is <br /> not in accord with O~.dinance 75-6 regarding "plan f6r future re: <br /> subdivision" Mr. Ra, nney has applied for a building permit to <br /> construct a split foyer type home (960 square feet) with attached <br /> garage (22 X 25). <br /> <br />3. Mr. John Swanson~_~_Mc_G.~re~qor's Cafe & Trug~. <br /> Mr. Swanson appeared iat the November 8, 1976, Council meeting representing <br /> Mrs. McGregor regardi;ng procurement o.f a liquor license. He explained <br /> that the truck stop h~as lost business due to highway changes and 'in order <br /> to remain in businessl they hope to operate a restaurant and liquor lounge. <br /> Note that they fall i~q the proper zoning category for this type of business. <br /> Planning & Zoning should look at the proposed plan in respect to seating <br /> capacity, arc. in relation to the City liquor ordinance -- and parking, etc. <br /> <br />4. ??,:~_A~92!~d~__C,,.gx~ M~ay~o=~cr'.. Request for retail commercial development 'in <br /> Ramsgate area. <br /> <br /> Ramsgate area -- located between Highway 47 and County Road 5 area south <br /> of 153rd Avenue N.W. ~Area is presently zoned B2. <br /> <br />(no fee paid <br />to date) <br /> <br /> <br />
