Cox, 17707 Nowthen Boulevard, requested a variance to subdivide <br />40 acres into two 20 acre parcels by metes and bounds (legal description <br />is the west 40 acres of the!E ½ of NE ¼ of Sec. 3-32-25) Ordinance 75-5. <br /> <br />Motion by Ron West to recommend to the City Council to grant a variance to <br />A. Cox to subdivide the abo~e parcel into two tracts by metes and bounds. <br /> Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />A. Cox asked for a variance lfrom Ordil~lnce 75-5 to subdivide a tract of land <br />4.59 acres into 2 tract located by his residence at 17705 Nowthen Boulevard <br />legal description is on file at City hall. He wants to subdivide the East 260' <br />of the tract. Item was tabled until after the Van Odegaard public hearing, as <br />a large number of people were waiting and the agenda said hearing was to start <br />at 8:30 p.m. ~ <br /> <br />Item 4. Public Hearing - 8:50 p.m. Van Odegaard, Kennel - conditional use. <br /> <br />Marvin L. Gurewitz, attorney for Van Odegaard stated that he is withdrawing his <br />request for a kennel licens6 therefore no action is to be taken. <br />Kennel is in violation of O~dinance 73-6, Section 20. Public hearing was <br />closed. <br /> <br />Item 5. Edward Paris. Per, it for home occupancy at 15310 Okapi Street N.W. <br />to repair small engines. L~gal description is Lot 1, Block 5, Whispering Pines <br />Estates. <br /> <br />One neighbor was contacted And did not object to this, they lived on Lot 7, <br />Block 6. ' <br /> <br />Motion by Tom Gamec, to direct the zoning officer to issue home occupancy <br />permit to Edward Paris to repair small engines in his garage. Seconded <br />by Ron West. Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Item 6. Members of Plannin~ & Zoning Commission then decided when to <br />interview applicants for a vacated position or the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />It was decided to meet on S~ptember 21, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall to <br />interview any and all applicants for the City of Ramsey Planning & Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Item 7. Continue with A. COX, variance at 9:45 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Ron West that we ~ecommend to the City Council that a variance be <br />granted to A. Cox to subdivide by metes and bounds the described 4.59 acre <br />tract into two parcels; because of the fact that there is an existing road <br />on the east boundary line a~d that it poses no future planning problems for <br />this area and can be easilylsubdivided. This new parcel on the east side will <br />be 2.5 acres. Motion seconded by Tom Gamec. Carried 5 to 0 <br /> <br />Motion by Tom Moorhouse to adjourn, seconded by G. Zimmerman.
